Cross to the southern coast through Tissamaharama — home to the ancient Tissa Wewa tank — and the bird-rich wetlands of Weerawila, arriving at Hambanthota's salt flats.

Wind west through the quiet southern dry zone villages of Ridiyagama, Madunagala, and Agunakolapelassa, past the remote fishing village of Ranna, to the beautiful bay of Tangalle.

A day to relax on Tangalle's golden sands, explore the secluded lagoons, or simply unwind by the Indian Ocean before the final leg home.
